Finen is a personal finance application designed with privacy as a core principle. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Finen on iOS and iPadOS.
Finen does not collect, track, transmit, or store any personal data on developer-owned or third-party servers.
All financial data, including assets, liabilities, account transactions, credit card statements, and related information entered into the App is stored locally on your device and/or within your personal iCloud account, depending on your device and iCloud settings.
The developer of Finen does not have access to your data.
Finen uses Apple iCloud solely for data storage and synchronization purposes.
Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. Finen does not use analytics services, advertising SDKs, tracking technologies, or third-party data processors.
Finen does not share user data with any third parties.
There is no advertising, profiling, analytics, tracking, or data monetization of any kind.
Finen relies on Apple’s built-in iOS security features and iCloud encryption to protect user data. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to prevent unauthorized access.
Finen does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. As no data is collected by the developer, there is no intentional processing of children’s data.
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the App’s functionality changes. Any updates will be reflected by revising the effective date above.

This GDPR / EEA Privacy Addendum applies to users located in the European Economic Area (EEA) and is provided in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”). This Addendum supplements the Finen Privacy Policy.
For the purposes of the GDPR, Finen does not act as a data controller or data processor, as the App does not collect, process, or store personal data on behalf of the developer.
All data entered into the App is processed locally on the user’s device and/or within the user’s personal iCloud account, under the control of the user and Apple.
Because Finen does not collect or process personal data on developer-controlled systems, no lawful basis under Article 6 of the GDPR is required for the developer.
Any processing that occurs within Apple iCloud is governed by Apple’s terms and lawful bases as an independent data controller.
All such information, if entered by the user, remains exclusively under the user’s control.
Any data transfers related to iCloud storage are governed solely by Apple’s GDPR compliance mechanisms.
The developer does not retain personal data.
Data remains stored only for as long as the user chooses to keep it on their device or in their iCloud account and can be deleted at any time by the user.
Under the GDPR, EEA users have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection.
EEA users have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.
As Finen does not act as a data controller or processor, any concerns regarding iCloud data handling should be directed to Apple.
Finen does not perform automated decision-making or profiling as defined under Article 22 of the GDPR.
